Szergej Szűcs

Szergej Szűcs was born on November 2, 1961.

In 1984 he graduated from Historical and Ethnographic Faculty of the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest.

1984-1989: Employee, International Department, the Soviet-Hungarian Friendship Society;

1989-90: Museum Specialist, Scientific Secretary, the Ethnographic Museum, Budapest, Hungary;

In 1991 he started his diplomatic career.

1993-1996: Deputy Head, 9th Territorial Department (CIS countries), MFA of Hungary;

1996-2001: Minister-Counsellor, Embassy of Hungary, the Russian Federation;

2006-2008: Head, East European Department, MFA of Hungary;
