Olli Perheentupa

The Consul General of the Republic of Finland in Saint Petersburg

He took the office of Consul General on January 1st, 2008
Before being appointed as head of the Consulate General of Finland in St. Petersburg, O. Perheentupa worked as Adviser to the President, Tarja Halonen, for Foreign Affairs.
O. Perheentupa started to work for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1982. In 1994-1997 he worked in Russia as Deputy Consul General in St. Petersburg, in 1997-2002 he worked as Counsellor of the Embassy of Finland in Moscow. Till the present he occupied a post of the Head of the Unit for Russia, the MFA of Finland.
